As the Educational Programs Manager at the Cancer Center at Illinois (CCIL), Stephanie manages program design and delivery for cancer research education and training initiatives across pre-college, undergraduate, and graduate audiences. She develops and implements programs that prepare the next generation of cancer researchers through mentorship, professional development, and interdisciplinary curricula that connect students to real-world cancer challenges. Stephanie collaborates with faculty, staff, and units across campus to expand access to research experiences and build pathways into cancer-related STEM fields. She also contributes to program evaluation, educational research, and dissemination efforts.
Before joining the CCIL, she served as the Twenty-First Century Community Learning Center Director for Northern Illinois University and as a Library Director for Naperville School District 203. Stephanie is a licensed K–12 educator and holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from North Central College.
