As the Senior Manager for Education at the Cancer Center at Illinois (CCIL), Stephanie leads the design and implementation of cancer research education and training initiatives across pre-college, undergraduate, and graduate audiences. Her work focuses on building pathways into cancer research through mentorship, professional development, and interdisciplinary programs that connect learners to real-world cancer challenges. She collaborates across campus and with external partners to expand access to research experiences and strengthen the cancer research workforce pipeline.
A licensed educator, Stephanie brings more than a decade of experience designing and leading education programs across K–12, higher education, and community-based settings. She holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from North Central College.
