The BEAT Cancer Research Initiative Lightning Symposium is being held to enhance the collaborative efforts of OSF and the CCIL by providing a setting in which attendees can form connections. Attendees will present for five minutes, sharing both their expertise and aspirations for this collaboration. Below are the intended outcomes of the event.

Provide opportunities for clinicians and scientists to meet, interact, and forge connections with others who share similar interests.
Fostering an environment that promotes active exchange of ideas and identification of needs among participants, ensuring that everyone has a voice in the conversation and can contribute to the BEAT Cancer Initiative.
Initiate the process of team formation by creating space for individuals to engage in meaningful conversations, discover potential collaborators, and lay the groundwork for collaborations in the BEAT Cancer Initiative.

Agenda

Time	Activity
4:00 – 4:30 p.m.	Guests are invited to arrive and mingle informally before the official program begins.
4:30 – 6:00 p.m.	Opening statements from OSF representative and CCIL representative. Presentations by attendees will follow.
6:00 – 7:00 p.m.	Reception and refreshments in the OSF Cancer Institute Teaching Kitchen.
