Rae Anne Paden, MPH, is the Associate Director of Research Administration and Government and Community Relations at the University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center. Rae Ann has more than 37 years of health care administration experience in academic medical centers, of which 25 years have been in cancer center administration. Her areas of expertise include research administration and oversight of the NCI Cancer Center Support grant, strategic planning, grants management, legislative and community affairs, and research operations in a matrix-organized cancer center. She has served on external advisory boards at the University of Utah and the University of Arizona, and she served as an administrative reviewer for the University of Colorado. Rae Ann has also worked in her local community with Casa Esperanza, Cancer Support Now, Catholic Charities of New Mexico and Pi Beta Phi Alumni Association. Her experience has afforded her a broad, well-informed, executive perspective that contributes to the UNM Cancer Center’s research, education and patient care missions. Rae Ann holds a Master’s degree in Health Administration.
