Katie Julkowski is the Collaborative Research Program Manager for the Cancer Center at Illinois (CCIL). In her role, she oversees the development and management of CCIL’s collaborative and translational research programs, fostering partnerships between CCIL researchers and clinical collaborators. Katie manages CCIL’s internal grant programs and supports interdisciplinary team research. She works closely with CCIL leadership, faculty, and clinical partners to continue improving cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
Katie earned a Master of Science in Management and a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She previously worked as a laboratory manager for two research labs in the Department of Evolution, Ecology, and Behavior at the University of Illinois.
