Paul Hergenrother
Paul Hergenrother, professor of chemistry and leader of the CCIL Program 2 (Cancer Discovery Platforms Bridging the Engineering-Biology Continuum), is one of eight Illinois faculty members elected as a 2019 Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). Hergenrother’s research focuses on the molecular basis of disease, and he was elected for his discoveries of new medicines that have promising clinical translations and impacts on cancer patients.
