John Erdman, Professor Emeritus of Food Science and Human Nutrition, recently published a study in the Journal of Nutrition. The study found that dietary tomato treatments after castration did not reduce cancer incidence in a murine model.

The American Cancer Society estimates there will be nearly 200,000 new cases of prostate cancer in American men in 2020.
