Megan Kilbane

Megan Kilbane, MBA, is the Director of Research for the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute. Prior to her current position, she was Associate Director for Administration, Assistant Dean for Oncology and Strategic Development, and directly responsible for the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center (Case CCC) administration. Kilbane served as Administrator for the Department of Patient Services at Cleveland Clinic and managed cancer programs in support of patient care. Her 15-year tenure at Cleveland Clinic includes appointments in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology as Department Manager, Project Manager in the Department of Strategic Planning and Continuous Improvement and Taussig Cancer Institute (TCI), and research Manager at TCI.

At Case CCC, Kilbane is responsible for administrative oversight and management of the entire research program. The range of administrative needs include intra- and inter-programmatic activities, faculty recruitment for programmatic growth, pre-and post-grant assistance and fiscal management, Shared Resource infrastructure support services, education, and training programs and fiscal support, and a communications/information network that serves faculty investigators at this matrix Center. In consultation with the Center Director and working closely with executive leadership, Ms. Kilbane manages, implements, and supports integrated strategic initiatives and scientific vision for the 3 institutions, develops and manages external partnerships, cultivates philanthropic relationships, and provides staff leadership.
