Oncologist, Carle Cancer Center

Kendrith M. Rowland is an oncologist at Carle Foundation Hospital and Carle Cancer Center. He manages Carle’s NCI Community Oncology Research Program, optimizing collaboration between cancer researchers and clinicians to improve cancer prevention efforts, screening, diagnostics, and care delivery for patients. Rowland works directly with numerous CCIL researchers, and he has co-authored a number of scientific publications related to cancer research. He also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Carle Illinois College of Medicine.

Rowland received his BA from Lawrence University and his MD from the University of Illinois, Chicago. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois Hospital and was a fellow at Rush Medical Center in Chicago. He’s been serving the cancer community of Central Illinois for several decades.
