The Carle Foundation Hospital hosted the Cancer Scholars for Translational and Applied Research (C«STAR) poster session and reception on April 26. Clinicians, administrators, researchers, staff and students joined in the festivities to hear about the interesting work taking place in the collaborative. Several clinicians highlighted challenges seen currently in their practices as part of this year’s activities. In addition to the research teams, speakers included Sinisa Stanic, (Carle Cancer Center Medical Director), Rohit Bhargava (Cancer Center at Illinois Director) and Kendrith Rowland (Carle Cancer Center Research Director).
