Neha Gothe’s is the Director of the Exercise Psychology Lab that explores the bio-psycho-social health benefits of physical activity across the lifespan. Her research agenda has focused on promoting physical activity, including non-traditional modes such as yoga, as a means to improve health and quality of life. Gothe’s lab studies physical activity and psychological well-being in cancer patients and survivors. survivors Dr. Gothe’s research is funded by the National Institutes of Health. She is an affiliate of the Beckman Institute. Gothe holds an MA in Applied Psychology from the University of Mumbai and an MS and PHD in Kinesiology and Community Health from the University of Illinois.
