Kristin Chochola

Educational Programs Manager and Instructor

Kristin Chochola received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Biological Sciences from Eastern Illinois University. She has diverse professional experience in education, involving both formal and informal education and program development, outreach, advising, and mentoring. Her career began as an Education Coordinator for a non-profit nature center and a Soil and Water Conservation District before transitioning to higher education in 2010. She has 12 years of experience as a college instructor specializing in anatomy and physiology for Eastern Illinois University, the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois, and the University of North Georgia. She will bring her unique expertise in teaching children as young as two years old through graduate students to help grow and expand the Cancer Center’s educational programs.
