Upon completing an interdisciplinary engineering and marketing degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Jonathan spent nearly two decades developing a robust array of capacities in student services, community development, fundraising, program leadership, communications, marketing, and outreach, which he now enthusiastically brings to the role of Communications Specialist with CCIL. Some of Jonathan’s most cherished projects in the past include mentoring refugees resettling in America, leading teams of university students to partner with NGOs in Honduras, Rwanda, and Nepal, and working with authors in the publishing industry. While not at the office, Jonathan is a bit of a foodie and bookworm and enjoys gardening, board games, movie nights, and adventures with his family.
