James Roll “JR” is a prostate cancer survivor. His sister, Cheryl (age 23), and Lee, his beloved wife of 40 years, were both taken by cancer. JR graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois. He is now retired after working as an engineer, a farmer, and a computer consultant. He participated in the AACR scientist-survivor program and has been a member of CRAG since its inception.
