Research Focus

Enrique Valera’s research focuses on developing a new generation of medical tools that move beyond the one-size-fits-all paradigm of therapeutics. He seeks to advance personalized medical technologies conceived as global health solutions and tools that are effective, scalable, and usable even within the constraints of resource-limited and remote settings worldwide. Valera’s long-term vision is to enable faster, more precise diagnostics and global health technologies that support more targeted and effective therapies.
