Cathy Tingley has provided administrative support at the University of Illinois since 1995 in the Department of Chemistry. She joined the Institute for Genomic Biology in 2006. In 2008, Cathy became the administrative assistant for the newly formed Division of Biomedical Sciences, which then transformed into the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute. Over these years, she has attained extensive knowledge of many areas of the campus in administration, support for undergrad and grad students, and wide-ranging grant experience.
Since its inception, Cathy has supported the Cancer Center at Illinois and serves as the liaison between CCIL and the Carle Cancer Center. She supports all aspects of research for CCIL at the Biomedical Research Center, where she provides support for the Bioengineering and CCIL faculty and staff.
