Parinaz Fathi

Parinaz Fathi, a doctoral student in Professor Dipanjan Pan’s research group, has been selected to participate in the 2019 Science of Signatures Advanced Studies Institute at Los Alamos National Lab (LANL) this spring. This highly selective, three-week program brings 15 accomplished Ph.D. students and post-doctoral researchers from around the country together to work in multi-disciplinary teams to generate novel, creative solutions to pressing national security problems. The participants also build the skills needed for successful research program development at national laboratories and in academia. Fathi’s research focuses on translational medicine applications of biomaterials and nanomaterials.
