The Center for Advanced Study has appointed CCIL member Jeffrey Moore as one of seven new members to its permanent faculty. The designation is one of the highest forms of campus recognition with only 24 other CAS professors currently appointed. Moore received this honorable acknowledgment due to his lab’s work focused on the “mechanophore hypothesis,” an intersection of chemistry and mechanics as well as his 400+ published articles.
